The new Mercedes-Benz CLA will be unveiled at CES
We don’t know a lot about it, but we do know that the new-generation Mercedes-Benz CLA will be unveiled at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The second generation of the popular entry-level sedan will then arrive somewhere in 2019 on the market, probably in the fall.
The current CLA was Mercedes-Benz’ entry-level vehicle until the launch of the new A-Class which will also be available in sedan form. We therefore expect the new CLA to serve as a bridge between the A and C Classes while also providing buyers with a sportier, more aggressive design compared with the A-Class.
AMG versions are expected of course, but we could see a brand-new engine or at the very least the same engine expected to power the A 35 and that makes well over 350 horsepower.
Again, we don’t have all the details, but we will next month. Check back for more details on the upcoming 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA.
